Arcadia - Shade Dweller UV Lamp T5 / 8W / 300mm

ShadeDweller ™ of Arcadia Reptile is a special 8W SO- T5 lamp which is specifically designed for shady (crepuscular) species, while also being suitable for many diurnal species that live in shallow enclosures.

This 8W lamp uses the latest German technology to produce a high-quality, sharp and very stable projection of UV-rich light for a whole year of use.

The lamp is energy efficient, uses only 8 watts and is 30 cm long. Perfect for creating useful areas of 'light and shadow' for the precise and safe self-regulation of the essential D3 cycles.

ShadeDweller ™ produces the perfect ratio of 17% UV-A and 7% UV-B for an effective and natural production of vitamin D3, achieving an average UV index of 0.80-1.00 at 25 cm from the lamp .

This highly advanced lamp is perfect for use with crepuscular species including the leopard gecko, fat-tailed gecko, many species of snakes and various amphibians.

The Arcadia Reptile 'ShadeDweller ™' increases an output of approximately 400 lumens and maintains a color of 6000 Kelvin, while providing a bright and very natural CRI of over 90.

This lamp is available as standard in two complete lighting kits and as a replacement lamp that can be used in any 8watt T5 system such as the original Arcadia Reptile UVMiniKit.
